Yesterday, we attended the Chihuly Across Florida Exhibit in Tampa. Some photos I took at the exhibit may be seen by clicking here. When we went to the museum I did not realize that cameras were allowed in the museum so I used my cell phone to capture these images. After we got in the museum we found that cameras were allowed but you had to turn off the flash. Anyway, these did not turn out too badly considering I was using my Nokia 3650 cell phone.
To quote the Sun Sentinal article which can be found by clicking here. "South Floridians may know Chihuly's work from the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach. At the Norton, one of the most memorable features of the new wing is a semicircular room containing a suspended ceiling with an elaborate arrangement of 693 glass pieces, many in the shapes and colors of marine life.Chihuly made it specifically for that space at the Norton."
